General safety instructions

Please observe the notes on safety and familiarize yourself with the
contents of the operating instructions before installing the devices
and connecting them to a compressed air supply or the power
supply.

Only use the devices in the specified areas and systems and comply
with the tolerances listed in the technical data.

If the limit values listed in the technical data are not observed or are
exceeded, the devices may overheat or be completely destroyed,
the functions and/or electrical safety may be impaired.

The devices are normally only intended for use in industrial
applications. An individual license must be obtained from the
authorities or an inspection center for systems that are to be used
in a residential area (residential, business, and commercial areas).

To comply with the technical data, only use the cables that are listed
in the operating instructions or in the project drawings.

Ground the devices according to the instructions. Please observe
the relevant DIN/VDE standards or country-specific regulations
when installing the system/device.
Especially observe:
– VDE 0160 (DIN EN 50178)
– VDE 0100

Only use a power pack with safe isolation in accordance with
DIN EN 60742, classification VDE 0551 for the power supply. Please
pay attention to external fuses that comply with this description

A problem-free and safe operation of the devices requires proper
transport, correct storage, installation and assembly.
