SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TMEA 1PEx

• Always turn off the power of the drive machine before you
start working.
• Do not expose the equipment to rough handling or heavy
impacts.
• Always read and follow the operating instructions.
• The tool uses two laser diodes with an output power below
1 mW. Still, never stare directly into the laser transmitter.
• Calibrate the equipment regularly.
• Never aim the laser beam into someone's eyes.
• Opening the housing of the measuring unit will invalidate the
Ex rating, voids warranty and may result in hazardous light
exposure.
• Opening the display unit will invalidate the Ex rating and voids
warranty.
• Do not expose the equipment to high humidity or direct
contact with water.
• Use the equipment only in the intrinsic safety zone for which it
has been certified, EEx ib IIC T4 - II 2G
• Never bring the printer into the intrinsic safety zone.
• Never remove or replace the batteries of the display unit in
the intrinsic safety zone.
• Never bring the carrying case into the intrinsic safety zone.
• Only use the type of battery specified as per chapter 2.1
