Incorrect measuring results

a) Assure you face the Stationary machine from behind the Movable
machine.
b) Check the attachment of fixtures and measuring units.
c) S-cable to S-unit and M-cable to M-unit?
d) S-unit on Stationary and M-unit on Movable machine?
e) Assure right position before confirmation of measurements.
f) Make sure that the entire laser beam hits the detector area.

Measurement results cannot be repeated

a) Check if there is a soft foot condition.
b) Check if there are any loose mechanical parts, play in bearing or
movements in the machinery.
c) Check the status of foundation, base plate, bolts and existing
shims.
5.3.7

Printer or print out problems

a) The printer does not turn on and the indicator light is not lit:
recharge the battery as described in chapter 3.10.3
b) No print out: the paper roll is empty, replace it as described in
chapter 6.5.
c) The printer indicator is flashing slowly with short pulses: the memory
is full, wait to launch the next print.
d) The indicator is flashing fast: The print head is blocked. Turn the
printer off, remove the paper and replace it correctly.
e) The printer is not recognized by the display unit ('No P' indicated on
the display) or the print out consists of a long list of meaningless
characters: check the DIP-switch positions, see chapter 2.1. The
DIP-switches are located in the bottom of the paper roll
compartment under the printer front cover.
If needed turn OFF the printer and reset the DIP-switch positions
with a pen or something comparable. Turn the printer ON and start
the print out.
Note!
To make a print of the DIP-switch settings turn the power ON while
pressing the front button (fig. 30).
