PROFILING NO SPOKES
Automatic Mode
The Spokes Off Automatic Mode has the same features
as the Automatic function "Profi ling" already described
6.3, except that it excludes automatic rim spoke
F
detection.
When it is established that no information about spokes
is needed, in-depth spoke detection by the laser can
be switched off.
This noticeably reduces the overall measuring run time.
This function is retrieved with the key (1, Fig. 6-12)
available in the Main menu. The change in the colour
of the text at the side of the symbol shows when the
selection is active.
After the measuring run the condition is identifi ed by
the pair of symbols (2, Fig. 6-12);
- Automatic "Balance"
- Rim with question mark
To enter the number of spokes manually, when the
measuring run has ended, switch to Manual Mode
using the sequence of keys (Fig. 6-13);
- "Home" (1)
- "Manual" (2)
- "Home" (3)
- "Balancing" (4)
When you get to the Manual Balancing screen page,
•
Press key (1, Fig. 6-14); each press increases the
number of spokes set by one.
Keep going until you reach the number of spokes on
the rim being processed.
In example: 5 spokes (2, Fig. 6-14).
Further Menu Items and specifications of this mode
are described below.
