8. The remaining end of the flat braided cable is terminated at the ground rod as
indicated in the scale platform's installation drawing.
9. On the rear cover of the panel-mount enclosure, connect the short black wire
(from Figure 2-19) and the twisted black and green wires from the PDX cable
to the external ground stud with a hex nut as shown in Figure 2-28.
10. Installation of the PDX cable is now complete. Proceed to the PDX cable
termination in the printed Installation Manual that shipped with the terminal.
POWERCELL PDX Connections
TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE PCB OR LOAD CELL, REMOVE POWER FROM THE TERMINAL AND
WAIT AT LEAST 30 SECONDS BEFORE CONNECTING OR DISCONNECTING ANY HARNESS.
The cable from the POWERCELL PDX network is terminated to load cell connector
on the main board as shown in Figure 2-29 and the color code for the cable is
shown in Table 2-5.
