3. IG502-E view of unit

3.1

Range of applications

The universal control unit IG502-E is designed for
the control and monitoring of centralized lubrication
systems of commercial vehicles. The functions of
the control unit can be programmed. The dimensi-
ons of the housing, the electrical connection and
the functions of the unit make it compatible with
previous VOGEL control unit models.

control units, see Annex, page 33, or
section 2!
A film protects the control elements from humidity
and dirt. The unit has a data memory which is
independent of the supply voltage. It is used for
storing configuration data and parameters. As a
result, the control unit does not require an uninter-
rupted voltage supply.
If an external signal lamp SL has been installed
in the driver's cabin, it will light for 3s after the
ignition is activated.
The IG502-E unit is available in two
versions, 12 V DC (IG502-E+912) and
24 V DC (IG502-E+924)
