Probable Cause/Event
Dull blade
The grass is too high in relation to the set
cutting height.
The grass is wet and causes accumulation of
grass clippings around the blade.
There is a Perimeter Island or a Narrow Passage
that prevents the mower to complete its drive
towards the Base Station in Near Wire Follow
mode.
There are several possible reasons for a non-
departure, including inactive times, rain
detection, etc.
Damaged or unbalanced blade
Height differences between the lawn and the
Base Station surface.
The wire underneath the Base Station is not
tight and placed in the middle of the Station.
The Base Station is set up on a side slope.
The Base Station is placed too close to the
corner of the lawn
Check the power to the Power Box.
There may be an electrical power interruption. There is no
need to do anything. The unit will renew operation as soon
as the power is back on.
No need for action – the unit will renew automatically the
operation, as the mowing motor will cool down.
No need to do anything.
The unit will renew the operation automatically as soon as
the drive motor will cool down.
To operate the unit, first press one of the operating mode
buttons and then to press the OK button to confirm.
Try to start manual mowing (refer to section 6.3 – Manual
Operation). Check if something disturbs mower's driving
backwards and/or bypassing the Base Station. Confirm the
mower drives along the perimeter wire and doesn't fall off
the lawn's edge, when it departs from the Base Station.
Confirm that the unit is able to follow the perimeter wire
along the narrow pass until it reaches the Sub-Zone. Refer
to section 4.3.3 for instructions on how to set a narrow pass
properly.
Refer to sections 5.1 and P026 in Section 6.4.2 in the User
Manual.
Corrective Actions
Replace blade.
@
It is recommended to cut less than a 1/3 of the green part
@
of the grass.
Set the cutting height to a higher position and then
@
successively lower.
If it is during a fast growing season – change the Mowing
@
Frequency (refer to Section 6.4.2 – P001).
For best cut, operate the unit when the grass is dry. Do no
@
to mow in the early morning hours.
Switch off the Safety Switch and use heavy gloves to clean
@
and remove the grass clippings.
Reduce the Near Wire Follow Distance in the Settings
@
menu from the default 7.
Press and hold 'Home' button for 1 second while the
@
mower is in the Base Station. The non-depart reason code
will be displayed for 3 seconds. Refer to Section 9.4.1 for
detailed description of no-depart codes.
Check if the lawn is free from branches, stones or other
@
objects that can damage the blade.
Replace the blade
@
- Fill some ground to flatten the lawn to the Base Station
to allow smooth entrance.
Confirm the wire underneath the Base Station is straight,
@
tight, and centered below the Base Station.
Move the Base Station to a relatively level ground.
@
Move the Base Station so it is not within 3 meters from a
@
corner.
