• Sharp cabinet edges may cause cuts to your hands when cleaning.
• Mechanical damage to the cabinet, which does not involve the refrigerant circuit, must be repaired immedi-
ately. Otherwise, there is the risk of personal injury.
notes
• The cabinet must only be transported or stored firmly secured in a horizontal position.
• Check the cabinet immediately after it is delivered for transport damage and that it is operating properly. If you
determine any defects, you should make a complaint to the AHT service partner immediately. → You can find
the service number in Chapter 16.
• When unpacking the cabinet, it is important to check whether there are any loose objects in the packaging.
Before you dispose of these loose parts, please clarify beforehand whether they belong to the cabinet or cabinet
accessories.
• The cabinet should only be operated after being installed correctly, permanently and horizontally on the stand
provided. → Follow the installation instructions in Chapter 5.
• Make sure that cabinets with internal lights have 2 mains cables (cabinet and light cables).
• The operating personnel (store personnel) must be trained by the store manager using the operating instructions.
• The cabinet must be operated in the climate class indicated on the rating plate. Please be advised that operating
the cabinet at values exceeding those stipulated for the climate class will result in a drop in energy efficiency and
if the values are exceeded significantly its functions are likely to be restricted.
• During operation, the cabinet should not heat to more than +50 °C (+122 °F), and when not operating (e.g.
transport, storage) to more than +70 °C (+158 °F). Do not place the cabinet in direct sunlight and do not expose
the cabinet to radiation from high-energy heat sources (spotlights).
• In order to ensure that the cabinet functions properly, the ambient temperature must not fall below 16 °C (60.8
°F) and should not exceed the temperature of the climate class that the cabinet has been designed for and is
indicated on the rating plate.
• The cabinet is only to be used for storing products that are already cooled or frozen. Therefore, any other use is
considered improper.
• In the event of a power failure, the stored products must be monitored by the store operator.
• The cabinet must only be operated with the glass doors fully closed. These should only be opened briefly for
incoming goods inspection or storage.
• The cabinet must be regularly monitored for foreign objects in the product space.
• Extremely vulnerable people (including children under the age of 8) may only operate the cabinet under supervi-
sion and after receiving training because of their physical, sensory or mental capacity and are not allowed to carry
out any maintenance or cleaning work. Children should not play with the appliance.
• The cabinet may become dirty if used daily. The operator must therefore defrost and clean the cabinet manually
at regular intervals for reasons of hygiene.
• Do not use heaters or sharp objects for the defrosting procedure. This damages the cabinet.
• Do not use any hard or sharp objects for cleaning or manual defrosting. These may scratch the delicate surfaces
or glass panels (safety glass) and subsequently destroy it.
• When it comes do disposing of the cabinet, please take it to the local disposal partner taking into account the
legal requirements applicable locally. Please ensure that the tubes are not damaged. Please refer to the informa-
tion on the refrigerant displayed on the rating plate to ensure that the cabinet is disposed of correctly.
