OPENING
4) Unhook the safety pins on the frame (A, Fig. 16) and place
them in their relative seats (B, Fig. 16).
5) Check that the hydraulic pipes are correctly connected (see
chapter 3.1).
6) Actuate the hydraulic system to open the frame (Fig. 14),
keeping the planter raised from the ground.
CLOSING
7) Activate the hydraulic system to close the frame, keeping the
planting unit raised off the ground and with the seeders
hooked into the raised position.
8) Hook the frame safety pins into their relative seats (A, Fig.
16).
9) Discharge the pressure in the hydraulic system and
disconnect the hydraulic pipes.
OPTIONAL
For the movement of the side frames of the planter, on request it
is possible to use two-stage cylinders (Fig. 17). During the lifting
stage of the planter, they allow the three frames making up the
planter to be aligned, so making the end of field manoeuvre
easier.
Each two-stage cylinder has 3 hydraulic pipes (Fig. 17):
a) two pipes for opening and closing the frame;
b) one pipe for opening the second stage of the cylinder.
It would be best if the last mentioned pipe were connected to the
tractor's lifting system, but if this is not possible use a distributor
of the tractor.
