5. Control functions

5.1 On/off button

Figure 11 shows the on/off button of CU 301.

The green and red indicator lights in the on/off button
indicate pump operating condition as follows:
Indication Description
Green indicator light
The system is operational.
permanently on.
Green indicator light The system is not
off. operational.
Red indicator light Pump has been stopped by
permanently on. means of the on/off button.*
Red indicator light CU 301 is communicating
flashing. with Grundfos GO Remote.
* If you use the on/off button to stop the pump, you
must also use this button to restart the pump.
Any alarm indication can be reset by pressing the on/
off button.
If you press and hold the on/off button for 5 seconds,
the pump starts, irrespective of any active fault or
alarm indications. When you release the on/off
button, the pump stops.
Setting the button to "OFF" does not
disconnect the power from the pump.
Before servicing the pump, remove power
at the service breaker.

5.2 Indication of pump operation

On the graphical illustration on the CU 301 front, the
drop pipe shows running light when the pump is
operating. When the pump is not operating, none of
the indicator lights are on. See fig. 12.

You can change the indicator light settings by using
Grundfos GO Remote. See section

5.3 Pressure setting

The two arrow buttons on the CU 301 front are used
for the pressure setting. See fig. 13.

Indication of pressure setting
The system pressure set is indicated by a yellow
indicator light, which is permanently on.
Setting range: 40-100 psi.
Arrow-up button
When this button is pressed, the system pressure
setting is increased in increments of 10 psi.
Arrow-down button
When this button is pressed, the system pressure
setting is decreased in increments of 10 psi.
