common faults and remedies to
rectify these faults. If you encounter
any other faults, please contact
your closest service centre author-
ised by the manufacturer or an
authorised specialist dealer.
Always keep the handle catch
clean. Remove grass cuttings from
the handle retainer if necessary.
Storage
Warning! Allow the motor
A
to cool before carrying your
lawnmower and storing it indoors.
Never store your lawnmower with
petrol in the fuel tank in a building
where the petrol vapours could
come into contact with a naked
flame or sparks.
Always store your lawnmower
indoors. This brillencio lawnmower
has a folding handle designed for
compact storage. Simply tilt the
multi-function box so it is open and
store the grass catcher on the lawn-
mower.
Warning! Make sure
A
that you do not trap the
Bowden cables when folding
and unfolding the lawnmower
handle.
Notes on Storage (Wintering)
If you are planning to store
your motor longer than 30 days,
empty the tank outdoors before
storing and soak up the remaining
petrol with a lint-free cloth. Then
allow the motor to run until it stops
due to a lack of fuel.
Unscrew the spark plug, pour
1 tablespoon of motor oil into the
cylinder. Turn the motor by slowly
pulling the starter handle so that
the oil is distributed then screw the
spark plug back in.
When you have removed dirt and
mowing residue we recommend
that you clean your lawnmower
with a preservative product.
Warning! Repairs that
A
require specialist knowledge
must only be carried out by an
authorised specialist.
