Fitting the chainrings on to the crankset: the chainrings must only be fitted to the ZED 3 crankset
when the crankset is detached from the frame.
1. Start by dismantling the crankset before fitting the chainrings (see § dismantling the ZED).
2. Before fitting any chainrings to the ZED 3 crankset, be sure to check that the chainring support
surfaces are clean, smooth and free from any elements that could become lodged between the
chainring and the crankset. This could significantly affect how flat your chainrings are and therefore
how effective your gear changes are.
