The IP rating indicates the level of protection and thus the suitability of the
device for use under different ambient conditions.
The rating IP21 means:
2 is the level of protection against contact and solid objects.
The digit 2 means:
− Protection against contact: protected against contact with a finger.
− Protection against solid objects: protected against solid objects
(diameter of 12.5 mm and greater).
1 is the level of protection against moisture.
The digit 1 means: protection against vertically falling water drops.
Warning! Depending on the device settings, the moving parts of the device
present pinch points!
