6.2 Maintenance
(fuse replacement)

Check before each use

Visually inspect the device for signs of
mechanical damage before each use.
If you detect damage or malfunctions that
may impair the safety of the patient or of
the operator, have the device repaired
before using it.
Technical inspections
Due to their design, the bearings and joints
of the ARTROMOT®-K1 classic do not
require maintenance and all materials are
protected from corrosion, BUT: For safety,
the devices require regular maintenance.
To maintain the functional and operational
safety, check all components for damage
and loose connections at least once a year.
These checks should be performed by
persons with adequate training and expe-
rience. Damaged and worn parts must im-
mediately be replaced with original spare
parts by authorized staff.
