6.3. Transport

The following adjustments need to be car-
ried out to prepare the ARTROMOT®-K1
classic for transport:
1. Adjust the femur length to 49 cm and
the tibia length to 42 cm.
2. Set the carriage to0° by pressing the
START/STOP button when the carriage
is in the0° position. This will stop the
carriage in that position.
3. Turn off the ARTROMOT®-K1 classic
power switch.
4. Disconnect the power cord and the
control pendant.
5. Only use the original shipping box to
transport the device. Ormed GmbH
cannot be held liable for transport
damage, if the device is not shipped in
its original shipping box.
6. Set the ankle joint to the horizontal
position.

7. Put the foam parts

8. Then lower the ARTROMOT®-K1 Clas-
sic into the box.
9. Fold down the block
the frame and insert the foam part
for the angle joint.
10. Then adjust the carriage to a tibia
length of 50 cm so that the ankle joint
will be fixed by the foam part

11. Put the control pendant (19) in the sup-
plied small box.
12. Fold down the fixation element
for the control pendant and store the
control pendant in the box.
