USE OF THE FRAME

(SEE DRAWING PAGE 10-3, FIG 3)
Proceed as follows:
a) Set the shoulders span to the minimum size
means of the handwheel "POS. 45".
b) Adjust former size by pulling or releasing
anticlockwise the relevant knobs "POS. 38"
and "POS. 39", then block by rotating them
clockwise.
c) Adjust the height of the small skirt on the
lower part of the bag according to the length
of the garment to be finished.
d) For dresses with long sleeves open the size
zips of the bag.
e) Position garment on the former and by
means of the hand-wheel "POS. 45" set the
shoulders span to the size of the garment to
be finished N.B. the side with the buttons
have to be on top of the other.
f) Push forward the front and rear clamps
fixing the garment on the frame (To regulate
the pressing see
REGULATION OF CLAMPS PRESSING").
g) Start the fan by turning the fan switch "POS.
54" in II position (see page 13-1) or for
overalls, blouses and jackets steam-air
formers, turning the switch "POS. 23" in I
position (see page 13-2).
h) Adjust the size of the garment to be finished
by proceeding as follows:
♦ Loosen the bag-regulating knob "POS.
38" to regulate the upper side and that
one "POS.39" to regulate the lower side.
♦ Push lower the knobs till the garment will
be inflated with no deformations.
♦ Lock the knobs "POS. 38" and "POS. 39"
i) After having regulated the bag, stop the fan
by turning the switch "POS. 54" in 0 position.
j) To finish small sizes, use the equipped belt
"POS. 24", fastening round outside the upper
side of the bag. In this way, the blowed air,
which inflates the bag, will be absorbed by
the upper side of the bag itself.
USE AND ADJUSTMENT OF THE
CLAMPS PRESSING
(SEE DRAWING PAGE 10-3, FIG. 2)
A correct regulating of the clamps pressing is
necessary to avoid marks on the garments.
Proceed as follows:
a) Rotate the knobs "POS. 55" o "POS. 56"
clockwise to increase the clamps pressing,
anticlockwise to reduce it.

b) Fixed the pressing, lock the nut "POS. 46"
against the retainer.
c) Regulate the lock screw "POS. 47", setting it
against the knob rod and fix the nut "POS.
48".
USE OF THE SLEEVES
EXPANDERS
(SEE DRAWING PAGE 10-3, FIG. 1)
The two expanders "POS. 49" have to be put on
inside the sleeves of the garment to finish.
The side of the expander with a sole radius have
to follow the rear side of the sleeve so to insert
the end with the two points converging up and
that ones with the points diverging down.

CLAMPS

The two clamps "POS. 50" close the possible
side vents of the garments to be finished, in
place of the only rear short clamps.

For the finishing of jackets proceed as follows:

Turn on the main switch "POS. 69" (see pages
13-1 and 13-2), which will light up the display of
the control panel. The last complete ironing
program will appear.
HOW TO MEMORISE IRONING PROGRAMS

It is possible to memorise 10 programs: from "P0"
to "P9". The ironing times of the first five programs
(from "PO" to "P4") are ready to be used and
however they can be modified at any moment.
