Place the selector "POS. 79" in
vertical position
2.
Connect the switch "POS. 80" on
position "I".

Press the pedal "POS. 77": to have
the device in working position. The
left and right clamps will close.

Put on the garment to be finished on
the steam air former (see section
"USE OF THE FRAME") and rotate
the sleeve expander device in such

By acting on the knobs "POS. 57"
(see drawing page 13-2) regulate the
height of the device according to the
length of the garment sleeves to be
finished.

Clamp the sleeves proceeding as
follows:

Press the left pedal "POS. 75" and

clamps
•
Put on the sleeve inside the clamp
•
Release the pedal "POS. 75" to
allow the closing of the clamp
•
Carry out the same operation for
the right sleeve, acting on the right
pedal "POS. 78"
N.B.: The two operations above can
be inverted between them.
b) Press the finishing starting pedal "POS.
77". At first the steam is injected to the
cloth

THE FRAME").
b)
Press the starting pedal "POS. 53", thus
allowing the cycle operation. Completed
the ventilation the machine stops.To
repeat the cycle, press again the pedal.

To stop the cycle before the fixed time,
press the "STOP" button "POS. 52".
In
the
ventilation is heated by an electric device,

thermostat (placed inside the electric panel)

In case of breakdown of the control thermostat
a further thermostat with fixed adjustment,

(145°C=300°F) placed inside the control panel
will stop immediately the heating device. Now it
is advisable to verify the current faults (heating
element burnt out, breakdown of the control
thermostat, break of cable electric continuity,
etc.).
After having solved these faults proceed to refit
the safety thermostat proceeding as follows:
♦ Loosen the black plug.
♦ Press the little refitment push button
♦ Screw again the plug and close the electric
panel
To regulate the quantity of air in the
ventilation and steam-air phase operate on
the air regulating lever "POS. 63": operating
the lever toward the operator the quantity of
air will increase while moving it in opposite
direction the quantity of air will be reduced.
STEAM BLOWING DEVICE
During
the
automatically
continuous blowing strakes at intervals, which
stop at the end of the steaming phase.
The
steam-blowing
advantages:
1. The steam, thanks to the blowing strakes, is
the
uniformly distributed inside the bag, allowing
a better steaming of the garment to be
finished and a consequent energy saving.
2. A better steam circulation inside the machine
will avoid condensate formation and will
assure a longer life to the steam air former.
