Set up battery operation

WARNING
Risk of explosion!
If the gas detector is opened in a potentially explosive dust atmosphere or the
battery box is opened in a potentially explosive area, an explosion may occur.
► Do not open the gas detector in a potentially explosive dust atmosphere or
the battery box in a potentially explosive area. Alternatively, the area at risk
of dust explosion and the potentially explosive area are to be declassified.
NOTICE
Damage to device!
If no battery pack is inserted in the battery box, the battery box may be
deformed.
► Pay attention to the tightening torque (max. 20 Ncm) of the screw plug. Only
screw in loosely.
The transport, insertion and replacement of the battery box in potentially
explosive gas atmospheres is permitted.
In a dust explosion hazardous area, the short-term transport of the battery box
is permissible. Inserting or changing the battery box in a potentially explosive
dust atmosphere is only permitted with declassification.
Replacing the battery pack is also explained in PolySoft .
