Risk of injury in the event of improper disas-
sembly!
Sharp-edged components, tips and corners on the
lifting column or the required tools can cause injuries.

Ensure that there is sufficient space before starting
work.

Handle exposed components with sharp edges
carefully.

Ensure that the work area is clean and tidy at all
times! Components and tools lying around or on
top of one another are sources of accidents.

Disassemble components properly. Observe the
components' sometimes high net weight. If neces-
sary, use lifting gear.

Secure components so that they do not fall down
or topple over.
–
Consult with the manufacturer in the event of
uncertainties.
Before starting disassembly:

Physically disconnect the lifting column from the electrical
power supply.
n
Dispose of operating materials in an environmentally friendly
manner.
Then clean the modules and components properly and disas-
semble them, adhering to the applicable local occupational health
and safety and environmental protection regulations.
Disposal of the lifting column in Germany is governed
by Elektro-G (RoHS); in the European area EU Direc-
tive 2012/19/EC or the respective national legislation
applies.
