Outside the switch cabinet ...
... the input leads to the non-contact safety sensors must be
routed in a separate sheathed cable.
... the output leads of sensors not protected against short
circuits must be routed in isolated single sheathed cables.
... the input leads to the muting sensors must be routed in a
separate sheathed cable.
LED indicators for "Reduced Resolution" and
"Muting"
The "Reduced Resolution" and "Muting" functions must be
indicated by visual indicators which must only illuminate when
the relevant operating mode has been consciously selected.
The function of the Muting lamp is monitored. Without it, no
muting is possible. The same applies if the lamp fails.
Cycle time monitor must be installed
When cycle time monitoring is deselected it must be ensured
that the time is monitored in the higher-level machine control.
