In-house transportation
The user must provide a fork lift truck for in-house
transportation. The center of gravity and lashing points
are marked on the packaging.

Set-up and initial commissioning

The lifting platform is only to be started up by Bosch
customer service or an authorized service agent. Initial
commissioning of the lifting platform is described in the
installation instructions. Acceptance must be performed
by a qualified person after initial commissioning.
5.8

Preparation by the user

The lifting platform is not to be erected outdoors.
At least weather-proof roofing is required.
5.8.1

Space requirements

Lifting platform dimensions.
There must also be a clearance of at least 1 meter
between the lifting platform and fixed elements
(e.g. wall) in all lifting positions.
There must be sufficient space at the ends of the lifting
platform for driving vehicles on and off.
5.8.2

Foundation and connections

The user must have the following work performed befo-
re erecting the platform:

Construction of the foundation following consulta-
tion with Bosch customer service or an authorized
service agent.

Routing of the wiring to the installation location.
The user must provide fuse protection for the
connection.

Description of unit

5.9.1

Outline

VLH 2155 is a 2-column lifting platform with electrohyd-
raulic drive. Fig. 3 shows the principal components.

The lifting platform consists of two columns with an
integrated base plate: Control column (1) and seconda-
ry column (8). The two columns are mechanically linked
by an overhead beam (7).
Each column is fitted with a lifting carriage (10) which
can be hydraulically raised or lowered. The hydraulic
unit (2) and the corresponding operating unit (3) are
attached to the control column.
