6. Remove the gasket (Fig. 31 A) and if necessary the other gasket (Fig.

7. Remove the 4 screws (Fig. 31 C) and lift off the 2 glass holders
(Fig. 31 D).
8. Remove the old glass and gasket that are lying underneath
the glass.
9. Glue a new gasket in place underneath the glass.
10. Fit new glass in place of the old glass. Remember that the
logo must be facing downwards on the door.
11. Glue new gaskets onto the glass holders before refitting them.
12. Then glue a new gasket into the grooves that have been
cleaned as described in points 31 A and B.
13. Refit the door.
14. Then remount the weight and side plates. If the weight sliding
plates (Fig. 30 - II D) are worn or damaged, replace them before

6.5 Adjusting the door
Adjusting the door – upper section
Fig. 32
1. Remove the bowl (Fig. 32 A), air grate (Fig. 32 B) and top plate
(Fig. 32 C). If the smoke outlet is top-mounted, get someone
to help you hold this while adjusting the door. If this is not
possible because the product has a steel chimney or flue
pipe, the top plate (Fig. 32 D) on the door may be removed by
raising the door and unscrewing the screws on the back of
the door. This makes it easier to get at the screws (Fig. 32 F).
2. Pull the door handle out (Fig. 32 E), but do not lift the door.
3. Loosen the 2 screws (Fig. 32 F) on the top of the burn chamber.
4. Push the door to the position required and hold it there while
tightening the screws (Fig. 32 F).
5. Refit any parts that have been removed from the product.
6. If the door is stiff after it has been adjusted, close the door,
loosen and tighten the screws in Fig. 30 - II C.
