Transport and storage
NOTICE
Use only technically faultless lifting equipment!
Use only technically faultless lifting equipment to lift and lower the mixer. Make sure that
the mixer does not jam during lifting and lowering. Do not exceed the maximum bearing
capacity of the lifting equipment! Check that lifting equipment is functioning properly
before use!
NOTICE
Transporting mixers without attachment points
Mixers for ground and wall fixation have no in-built frame and therefore no attachment
point. Transport the mixer on the pallet to the installation site. Have one or two persons
position the mixer at the installation site. Remember the weight of the mixer!

Only remove the outer packaging at the place of utilization to ensure that the mixer is
not damaged during transport.
ƒ
Pack used mixers for shipping in tear-proof plastic bags of sufficient size so that they are
leakproof.
ƒ
Seal the open end of the connection cable against water ingress.
ƒ
Adhere to national safety regulations.
ƒ
Use legally specified and permitted lifting gear.
ƒ
Select lifting gear according to the present conditions (weather, attachment point, load
etc.).
ƒ
Only attach lifting gear to attachment points. The fixation must be made with a shackle.
ƒ
Use lifting equipment with sufficient bearing capacity.
ƒ
The standard safety of the lifting equipment must be guaranteed during application.
ƒ
When using lifting equipment, get a second person to coordinate the procedure if neces-
sary (e.g. view blocked).
DANGER
Danger due to fluids which are hazardous to health!
Decontaminate the mixer after removal and before all work. There is a risk of fatal injury.
Observe the specifications in the work regulations. The operator must ensure that the
personnel have received and read the work regulations.
WARNING
The propeller blade has sharp edges!
Sharp edges can form on the propeller blades. There is a risk of limbs being severed. Wear
safety gloves to protect against cuts.
CAUTION
Total damage due to moisture penetration
Moisture ingress in the connection cable damages the connection cable and the mixer!
Never immerse the end of the connection cable in a fluid and firmly seal it during storage.
