Each Weight (AR-1650-
05) weighs 2.5lbs
(1.1kg). They are
stacked onto the
Weight Hanger by
aligning the slot of the
Weight with the post of
the Weight Hanger and
sliding down over the
cone of the Weight
Hanger (Figure 9).
Sterile Setup:
Positioning the Patient:
Ensure the patient is laying in the lateral position with the operative shoulder facing
upward.
Positioning the Tower:
a. Position the Tower so that it is oriented over the patient's operative arm. The
angle of the Tower can be adjusted by releasing the trigger and rotating it either
forward or backward. This should be done by circulating nurse or other qualified
non-sterile personnel.
