5.8. Using the Side Impact Protection System (SIPS)

The side protection system can significantly improve the
the child restraint system safety performance.
When you place the child in the seat, extract the side
protection system. To do this, press the button as shown
in fig. 1.
To return to the initial position, you must press and hold
the same button you used to extract it, while pushing the
protection system to retract it. As shown in fig. 2.

5.9. Removing reductor cushion

Once the child is over 61cm tall, the reductor cushion
must be removed from the child restraint system.
