Optionally and depending on the equipment of the kiln, a 19-pin plug-in screw connection with a bayonet lock
(CPC-19) can also be used.

7.3.1.
Establishing the plug connection

Insert the plug of the control unit into the socket on the kiln.
The plug and socket have a geometric coding - the plug and socket only

fit into one another in one position.
The wide lug on the plug must be at the top in the 12 o'clock position to

fit into the wide recess on the plug, also in the 12 o'clock position.
You may have to twist the plug a little until it clicks into the socket

completely.

Tighten the outer screw ring on the plug clockwise.

7.3.2.
Control unit extension cable
• If the bracket for the control unit is attached at the operation location (near the kiln), the cable can be extended
using an extension cable.
• The extension cable for the control systems is optionally available in lengths of 2.5, 5 or a maximum of 10
meters.
• Note on EMC:
To meet Electromagnetic Compatibility requirements the controller lead should not exceed 3 m in length. The
instrument is mainly designed for use in Domestic, Commercial and Light Industrial environments where
electromagnetic interference may cause a loss of accuracy of the displayed temperature reading of up to 3°C.
