sory tight.
Securing the work piece.
Secure the workpiece adequately. A
workpiece that is not properly secured
can, for example, cause the polishing accessory
to jam and kick back, fall and cause other haz-
ards.
General operating instructions.
Putting into operation.
First check that the mains supply lead and
mains plug are not damaged.
Starting (Figure 9).
After plugging in the mains plug, the angle pol-
isher can be started in any working position by
subsequent actuation of switchpad (3)/(5) and
push button (2):
Hold the angle polisher in the desired
working position either at the
rear (START A) or front (START B), lightly
pushing and holding at least one of the 4 switch-
pads.
Note: The polishing accessory begins to move
with short, low-power impulses. The angle pol-
isher thus signals the actuation of the first
switchpad.
Briefly press the push button (2) on the
gear head.
WPO 13-15 E: The angle polisher starts gen-
tly and reaches its lowest speed after a
short time.
WPO 13-15 IE: The angle polisher starts
gently and reaches the last set speed after a
short time.
Notes: The angle polisher does not start:
– when switchpad (3)/(5) and push button (2)
are pressed at the same time
– if one or more of the pressing surfaces is/are
pressed while the mains plug is inserted

Setting the speed (Figures 3+4+5).
The speed can be controlled infinitely variable
while the angle polisher is running.
To increase the speed:

The speed set is shown by the symbols on the
speed display (4):

WPO 13-15 E: Note: The power tool starts with
the lowest speed at each starting procedure.
WPO 13-15 IE: Note: The power tool starts with
the last set speed at each starting procedure.
The self-start prevention lock prevents the angle
polisher from starting again on its own accord if
the current supply has been interrupted during
operation, e. g. by pulling out the mains plug.
Conduct the mains lead away from the rotat-
ing polishing accessory. If you lose control
over the power tool, the mains lead could be cut
through or caught, thereby drawing your hand
or your arm into the rotating polishing acces-
sory.
Polishing (Figure 9).
Press the power tool on evenly and
move it over the surface.
Do not strain the power tool!
Do not allow the surface of the workpiece
to become too hot.
Stopping (Figure 9).
Press push button (2). The polishing
accessory starts to run down.
