1. Guide the vehicle cable through the lower
opening in the wall mount, fit the bottom of

the control unit on the locking lug and push
backwards to click into place.

opening in the wall mount and lock the snap ring
by pushing it to the left.

Cleaning

Check the charger for damage and soiling at regular
intervals and clean it if necessary.
Electric shock, fire
DANGER
Risk of serious or fatal injury due to fire or electric
shock.
e Never immerse the charger or plugs in water or
spray them directly with water (e.g. high-
pressure cleaning equipment or garden hoses).
e Only clean the charger when the control unit has
been fully disconnected from the power grid and
from the vehicle. Use a dry cloth for cleaning.

Disposal

Electrical/electronic devices must be handed in at
a collection point or waste management facility.
e Do not throw electrical/electronic devices in with
household waste.
e Dispose of electrical/electronic devices in
accordance with the applicable environmental
protection regulations.
e If you have questions about disposal, contact an
authorized Porsche dealer.

Selecting the installation location
Electric shock, fire
DANGER
Improper use of the charger or non-compliance with
the safety instructions can cause short circuits,
electric shocks, explosions, fires or burns.
e Do not install the wall mount in potentially
explosive atmospheres.
e To reduce the risk of explosion, particularly in
garages, make sure that the control unit is located
at least 19.7 in. (50 cm) above the floor during
charging.
e Observe the locally applicable electrical
installation regulations, fire protection measures,
accident prevention regulations and escape
routes.
The wall mount is designed for indoor and outdoor
installation.
The following criteria must be considered when
selecting a suitable installation location:
– If possible, install the electrical socket and wall
mount in a covered area away from direct sunlight
and rain (e.g. in a garage).
– Make sure the distance of the electrical socket
from the floor and ceiling conforms to national
standards and regulations, to ensure comfortable
use:
Make sure that the Mobile Charger Plus is
installed so that the parking position of the
vehicle plug is between 24 in. (60 cm) and 4 ft.
(120 cm) above the floor.
