6. Adjusting the sweeping roller and side brush
When the unit is stationary adjust the sweeping roller
until it just touches the ground.
A Adjust with the rotary knob.
B The scale indicates the setting.
Note: Setting the sweeping roller too low will not improve the
sweeping result, but will increase the energy requirement
and thus reduce the service life of the sweeping roller.
The side brush should be positioned on 1/3 of its
circumference.
C Adjust with the adjusting screw.
7. Changing the sweeping brush and the side brush
– Remove the refuse tank.
A Remove the 3 screws from each sweeping roller half. The
sweeping roller halves can now be removed.
– Unscrew the hexagon head nut on the side brush. The side
brush can now be removed from the fixture.
Note: See the item on „Assembling the outrigger broom"
in section 1, „Unpacking and assembly".

8. Changing the filter

Note: Change the filter once a year. Filter: Order number:
6.414-449
– Remove the refuse tank.
A Remove the filter cover.
B Remove the filter.
– Install new filter. Assemble in reverse order of disassembly.
9. Transport
Note: Do not tilt the unit as battery acid may run out.
– When transported by vehicle the machine must be secured
with fixing straps or ropes.
