User Instructions
For acid-filled batteries, check the condition of the
battery acid at regular intervals. The battery should
always be fully charged before the battery acid is tested.
Fill up to mark with distilled water.
Park sweeper on a level surface, and switch OFF.
Clean area surrounding dipstick.
Pull out dipstick.
Wipe dipstick clean, and re-insert.
Pull out dipstick again and check oil level.
Oil level must be between marks on dipstick.
If oil level is below bottom mark – top up with oil.
If oil level is above top mark – drain off excess oil.
Re-insert dipstick.

Filling up with engine oil

Pull out dipstick.
Pour oil into filler hole - see Changing the engine oil
Re-insert dipstick.

!
Environmental hazard caused by engine oil
The waste oil that results from an oil change should be
handed in at an appropriate collection point or properly
equipped disposal unit.
Park unit on a level surface, and switch OFF.
Clean area surrounding dipstick.
Pull out dipstick.
Use suction pump (Order no. 6.491-538) to draw off
oil. Push suction tube as far as possible into filler
hole.
Pour oil into filler hole
Re-insert dipstick.
