5. Weigh the gelling sugar as specified on the package and add the
gelling sugar to the fruit pulp.
Lock the baking mould in the appliance by turning it clockwise (LOCK).
Close the appliance lid.
6. Connect the mains plug to the socket and select the "Jam (10)"
program by pressing the "MENU" button.
Caution!: The interior of the appliance and the baking mould and its
contents are very hot during operation and subsequently for some
time. The outer sides of the appliance may also be hot. Touch only
the handles and control elements of the appliance.
Wear oven gloves when you take the hot dough container out of the
appliance . Be very careful when you pour the hot contents out of the
dough container.
7. Press the "START/STOP" button to start the program. Wait for the
program to end and you hear the beep.
8. Wear oven gloves and turn the bread mould anticlockwise to un-
lock it (UNLOCK). Remove the baking mould out of the appliance.
9. Fill the jam when it is still hot into heat-resistant vessels. Then
allow the jam to cool down completely.
Note: The gelling process can take a few hours depending on the type
of fruits.
16.2 Making yoghurt
You can use the "Yoghurt (13)" program to make yoghurt from fresh
milk. All you need is fresh milk and a little mature yoghurt with live
yoghurt cultures.
The appliance heats the mixture to the required temperature.
1. Fill about 1 litre of milk into the yoghurt container. Then add
about 100 ml of ripe yoghurt. Stir the mixture well.
Note: Sugar, flavours, fruit mixes and/or other ingredients should be
added only after the yoghurt is ready.
