14.14 Changing the engine oil
Risk of injury!
Allow the engine to cool down
before topping up the engine oil or
before changing the oil.
Danger of burns due to hot engine
oil.
Information regarding the specified engine
oil and oil capacity can be found in the
engine instruction manual.
Perform an oil change when the engine is
warm to the touch. Place a suitable oil
collection container (note engine oil
capacity) under the oil drain tube.
Dispose of used oil in conformance with
statutory requirements.
Oil change interval:
The recommended oil change intervals
can be found in the engine instruction
manual.
Draining the engine oil:
● Stop the engine and allow it to cool
down (warm to the touch). (
● Engage the parking brake. (
● Remove the ignition key and keep it in a
safe place.
● Remove the discharge chute. (
● Open the storage compartment.

● Unscrew the oil cap (see engine
instruction manual).
The oil drain hose (1) is located on the
engine, near the right-hand rear wheel.
● Place a suitable oil collecting container
underneath.
● Detach the oil drain hose.

Turn quick release cap (2) of oil drain
hose (1) half a turn anti-clockwise and
remove.
Drain all the engine oil.
● Close the quick release cap.
● Attach the oil drain hose to the engine.
14.15 Topping up engine oil
Avoid damage to the machine!
Avoid exceeding and falling below
the correct engine oil level.
● Open the storage
compartment. (

instruction manual – use a suitable
funnel and hose (not included in
standard equipment).
Insert the funnel into the hose so that
the engine oil can be emptied into the
funnel and then flows through the hose.

The flow of fuel in the fuel line is
enabled or interrupted by
opening or closing the fuel cock.
The fuel cock is located behind
the left-hand rear wheel.
