Assembling the fork

Preliminary work
–
Raise the motorcycle using a work stand (see repair manual).
–
Place a load on rear of the vehicle.
The front wheel is not in contact with the ground.

Remove the front wheel using a work stand (see repair
manual).
–
Remove the fork legs (see repair manual).
Disassembling the fork legs
The operations are the same on both fork legs.
–
Clamp the fork leg in the area of the lower triple clamp.

Loosen screw cover
Ring wrench (T14017)
Info
The screw cover cannot be removed yet.

Extract the fork leg and push the fork downward.
–
Pull the spring downward and push the open end wrench

onto hexagonal part
–
Hold the hexagonal part and loosen screw cap
not take it off yet.
Ring wrench (T14017)

Pull the spring downward. Remove the open end wrench.

Remove the screw cap.

Remove spring

–
Drain the fork oil.

Pull out and push in the piston rod a few times to
pump the cartridge empty.
