After use the adapter can also be cleaned, disinfected, and ster-
ilized irrespective of the unit. In this case please read the infor-
mation and processing recommendations in these instructions.
4.5 Disconnecting the product from the unit
1. Lateral forces can damage the receptacle. Therefore ensure
you pull the HF connector of the adapter out of the multi-
functional receptacle in a straight line.
2. Unscrew the argon gas connection of the adapter and pull it
out of the argon gas receptacle in a straight line.

5.1

Safety instructions for processing

Erbe Elektromedizin recommends machine cleaning/
disinfection. Because it is much less effective, manual cleaning
is not recommended.
May be cleaned in an ultrasonic bath.
Never use sharp objects for cleaning.
Disinfectants must be rinsed off thoroughly after use.
Maximum air pressure during drying: 2 bar.
Maximum water pressure during rinsing: 2 bar.
During machine cleaning and disinfection, do not exceed 95 °C.
Observe the specifications from the manufacturer of the deter-
gent and disinfectant and in the chapter "Overview of validated
procedures".
During sterilization, do not exceed 138 °C.
Do not sterilize in hot air.
