9.1

Safety instructions for processing

Erbe Elektromedizin recommends machine cleaning/
disinfection. Because it is much less effective, manual cleaning
is not recommended.
May be cleaned in an ultrasonic bath.
Never use sharp objects for cleaning.
Disinfectants must be rinsed off thoroughly after use.
Maximum air pressure during drying: 2 bar.
Maximum water pressure during rinsing: 2 bar.
During machine cleaning and disinfection, do not exceed 95 °C.
Observe the specifications from the manufacturer of the deter-
gent and disinfectant and in the chapter "Overview of validated
procedures".
During sterilization, do not exceed 138 °C.
Do not sterilize in hot air.
9.2

Processing limitation

The material stability of the product was established in 20 clean
preparation cycles (without operative stress), as described in the
section: Cleaning, disinfection, sterilization. Erbe Elektromedizin
recommends not to re-use the product after that even if there is
no evidence of damage. The number of re-use possibilities may
also be lower depending on the degree of stress associated with
use.
