V.CONDITIONS OF INTENDED USE

General description
The machine is essentially made up of a base supporting a circular blade mounted in an inclined position,
driven by an electric motor, whose function is to slice foodstuffs, and of a trolley sliding on guides, placed
under said base, which in turn supports a plate for holding foodstuffs, parallel to the edge of the blade.
Slice thickness is adjustable thanks to a thickness gauge plate placed in front of the blade; this plate, on
which the product to be sliced rests, can be moved transversally with respect to the blade by a value
corresponding to the desired slice thickness. The feeding of the product (advancement towards the
thickness gauge plate) takes place by its own weight (gravity). All machine components are made of
polished and anodically oxidized aluminum alloy, stainless steel and plastic material for food use.
The cutting blade is driven by an electric motor and motion transmission is obtained by means of a belt
with longitudinal grooves. Starting and stopping are carried out by means of a push-button connected to
the auxiliary control circuit which prevents accidental start-up of the machine after a possible power
failure.

Correct use of the slicer
The slicer is intended only for slicing food products of the type and within the size limits indicated in this
instruction manual.
Intended use

Only the following products can be sliced:
- All types of cured meats (cooked, raw, smoked).
- Boneless meats (cooked or raw at a temperature not below +3°C).
- Bread and cheese (obviously of the slicable type such as gruyere; fontine, etc.).
