When the hob is in lock mode, all controls are disabled except
the On/Off control. You can always turn off the hob with the
On/Off control in an emergency, but you must unlock it when you
want to use it again.
EXCESS TEMPERATURE PROTECTION
A temperature sensor equipped for monitoring the temperature
inside the hob. When an excessive temperature is monitored, the hob
will automatically stop working.

BOOST FUNCTION

For the model UBE2413-21, the midle cooking area has
additional heating elements to increase the power.
By pressing the Boost control, the additional heating elements
will be switched on to provide extra power.

RESIDUAL HEAT WARNING

When the hob has been operating for some time, there will be some
residual heat. The letter "H" appears to warn you to keep away from
it.
AUTO SHUTDOWN PROTECTION
The automatic shutdown is a safety function of the hob. The hob will
automatically turn off if you forget to do so. The default working
times for the different power levels are shown in the table below:
