Operation
Switching on
en
The extraction unit is switched on and off via the on / off
switch (3).
After activation:
♦ The extraction unit performs an automatic filter cleaning
sequence (for approx. 8 seconds, loud vibrating noise).
Afterwards, the extraction unit is in the last operating mode set.
Selecting the operating mode: CAM operation / continuous operation
• CAM operation (20):
♦ The extraction unit responds to the control signals of the CAM system.
• Continuous operation (22):
♦ The extraction unit is in continuous operation.
⇒ Press the operating mode key (21).
♦ Switching the operating mode.
The extraction unit is suitable for dry dust only!
When connecting to a CAM system with a wet and dry function, ensure that
no residual moisture from the CAM system enters the extraction unit.
Always check that the extraction unit is in proper working order before mill-
ing:
► Error display (26) is off.
► Suction turbine operates correctly without any particularly unusual noise or odor.
Cleaning / Maintenance
The unit does not contain any internal parts that require maintenance.
Opening the equipment other than as specified below is not permitted!
Cleaning
To clean the unit, only wipe the outside with a damp cloth.
Do not use any solvent-based or abrasive cleaning agents.
Emptying the dust drawer
After a set time interval is reached (see Chap. 6.2.1), you are
prompted to empty the dust drawer:
♦ An acoustic signal sounds three times.
♦ The dust drawer display (24, Fig. 2) lights up.
The next time the extraction unit comes to a stop, an acoustic
signal sounds three times after which the filter is cleaned.
Once the filter has been cleaned:
⇒ Release the clamp fastener (4A) of the dust drawer.
⇒ Pull the dust drawer (4) forward and empty.
During disposal, observe local provisions and accident pre-
vention regulations!
Personal protective equipment must be worn depending on
the extracted material.
⇒ Insert the dust drawer again and push it all the way in.
⇒ Close the clamp fastener (4A).
⇒ Press the Enter key (25). The counter for recording the time interval is reset.
♦ An acoustic signal confirms your input.
♦ The dust drawer display (24) switches off.
If the dust drawer is not emptied, the dust drawer display (24, Fig. 8) remains lit up. After switch-
ing the unit on and off, an acoustic signal sounds three times again to indicate that the dust
drawer must be emptied. of heavy extracted material (e.g., zirconia dust), 2 waste bags are recom-
mended (bag-in-bag solution) for safe removal and safe transport.
To set the time interval, consult the instructions for use available online.
