Possible cause
Not plugged in.
Fuse in electrical distribution
board switched off.
The indicator lamp is defec-
tive.
Too many appliances connect-
ed to the same power circuit.
No fault detected.
No water in the tank.
Water tank incorrectly in-
stalled in the housing
Valve on the water tank is
clogged
Drip tray full
Valve on water tank leaking
Coffee powder pressed in too
firmly.
The coffee powder is ground
too finely.
ESE pad is not centred.
Remedy
Insert the mains plug.
Switch on fuse.
Contact customer
service.
Reduce the number of
appliances on the power
circuit.
Contact customer
service.
Fill with water
Install the water tank
properly.
If necessary, call cus-
tomer service for clean-
ing the valve.
Empty the drip tray
Contact customer
service.
Press in the coffee pow-
der less firmly.
Grind the coffee powder
less finely.
Centre the ESE pad in
the strainer insert.
