Important precautions
1. This appliance should be used by, or under the supervision of, a responsible adult.
Use and store the appliance out of the reach of children.
2.This appliance is not a toy. Do not let children play with it.
3. Do not immerse the device, bowl, cable, plug or motor unit in water or any other
liquid and do not use the device in a bathroom, near sources of water or outside.
4. Do not place the appliance in a wet or damp environment and keep it
out of direct sunlight.
5. Place the appliance on a flat, stable, firm and dry surface.
6. Do not lift or move the appliance whilst in use.
7. Do not lift the appliance by the power cable. Always lift the appliance by its base.
8. Do not use the appliance unless the cover is firmly in place.
9. Do not remove the preparation bowl from the main unit when the motor is running.
10. The bowl will get very hot during cooking. Do not touch the hot surfaces of the
appliances. Do not remove the cover from the bowl during cooking as you could get
burnt. Use an oven glove to remove the cover.
11. Some steam may escape around the measuring cap during cooking, so take care not
to get burnt.
12. Ensure that the bowl does not overflow. Do not fill the bowl above the
recommended level. Any liquid which gets underneath the motor unit may be
absorbed into the motor and could damage it.
13. Do not put your hands in the bowl as the blades are very sharp. Use the hook
provided to remove the blades.
14. Do not put any utensils (spoon, spatula, etc.) into the bowl – use the accessories
provided.
15. Once you have run the appliance continuously for a full cycle, wait at least 5 minutes
before starting a new cycle.
