Cleaning the inside of

Before each cleaning, adjustment or replacement of accessories, and when the
unit is not in use, turn off the machine and cool it down completely, also

Clean the ventilation openings with a brush and compressed air.

Perform regular inspections of the unit checking technical fitness and any
damages.

Do not use sharp and/or metal objects (e.g. wire brush or metal spatula) for
cleaning as they may damage the surface of the appliance material.

Check the fuel cables regularly for any damage or wear (cracks or leaks) and
replace the damaged component immediately.

Spark plug inspection/replacement:
ATTENTION: remove the plug only on a cold engine!
Access to the plug is between the air filter housing and the muffler. First,
remove the ignition cable pipe from the spark plug to gain access to it. Before
installing a spark plug - including a new spark plug - check the spark plug gap
and adjust it if necessary. When screwing in the plug, do so as far as it will go,
but tighten it sensitively - usually another 1/3-1/2 turns (see the plug
manufacturer's recommendations). The rest of the assembly reverses to
disassembly.
