TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
Generator is running

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Generator circuit breaker has tripped.
Power cord connected incorrectly or power
cord is defective.
Faulty device or appliance.
Damaged or defective generator.

Generator is overloaded.
The circuit selector is in the "OFF" or "LINE"
position.
Generator circuit breaker has tripped.
Power cord connected incorrectly or power
cord is defective.
Faulty device or appliance.

The circuit selector is in the "OFF" or "GEN"
position.
The circuit breaker in the load center has
tripped.
CORRECTION
Reset circuit breaker. Refer to generator's
user manual.
Reconnect power cord. If the problem
repeats a second time, replace the power
cord. If the problem repeats again, contact
Westinghouse customer service toll-free at
1 (855) 944-3571.
Connect a different device or appliance in
good condition.
Shut off the generator. Contact the generator
manufacturer.
Connect a different device or appliance in
good condition.
Review load power requirements and
rearrange.
Move the circuit selector to the "GEN"
position.
Reset circuit breaker. Refer to generator's
user manual.
Reconnect power cord. If the problem
repeats a second time, replace the power
cord. If the problem repeats again, contact
