ix. If the task light is going to be used with a supplied airline system (NOT a 3M™ Adflo™ PAPR) a battery pouch to hold the 3M™ Adflo™
Li-ion Battery will need to be attached to the user's belt. Thread the belt through the battery pouch in either the horizontal or vertical
orientation. If vertically oriented, make sure the pouch opens in the upward position (Fig. 31i or 31j).
x. Attach the task light cable to the battery and slip it into the battery pouch, sealing with the hook and loop closure (Fig. 31k and 31l).
b. Use and Maintenance
i. To activate the task light, briefly press the Power button on the side of the light.
ii. The light has 4 brightness settings; low, medium, high and maximum. To change between the settings, hold the Power button. The light
will cycle up one brightness level every second from lowest to highest and then cycle back to low again, continuing as long as the Power
button is held down.
NOTE: Always turn the task light off after use. If the task light is inadvertently left powered on, it will (over time) drain the 3M™ Adflo™ Li-ion Battery.
iii. If the cover lens becomes dirty or damaged, pry it up and off the front of the task light with a fingernail. To replace it with a new lens,
push the lens into the side of the task light and snap the alternate side in place (Fig. 31m and 31n).
