1,Turn all grill control knobs to OFF.
2.Besure regulatoris tightly connectedto LPcylinder.
3.CompletelyopenLP cylindervalve byturninghand
wheel counterclockwise. I f you hear a rushingsound,
turn gas off immediately. T here is a major leakat the
connection.Correct before proceeding.
4.Brushsoapysolution ontoareas circled below,or other
similarfittings on your grill.

Safety Tips
o Beforeopening LPcylindervalve, check the coupling
nutfor tightness.
o When grill is not in use, turn offall control knobsand LP
cylindervalve.
o Never movegrill while in operationor still hot.
o Some surfaceswill be hot duringuse. Uselong-
handledbarbecueutensilsand oven mitts to avoid
burnsand splatters.
o Maximumload for sideburnerand side shelf is 10Ibs.
oThe greasetrayor cup must be installedduringuse
and emptiedafter each use. Do not removegreasetray
or cup untilgrill has completelycooled.
o Clean grill often, preferablyafter each cookout.If a
bristle brushis used to clean any of the grill cooking
surfaces,ensure no loosebristles remainon cooking
surfacespriorto grilling. It is notrecommendedto clean
cookingsurfaceswhile grill is hot.
- If you noticegreaseor other hot materialdrippingfrom
grill onto valve, hose or regulator, t urn off gas supply
at once. Determinethe cause,correct it,then clean
and inspectvalve, hoseand regulatorbefore
continuing.Performa leaktest.
o Keep ventilationopeningsincylinderenclosure(grill
cart) free and clear of debris.
o Do notstore objectsor materialsinsidethe grill cart
enclosurethat would blockthe flow of combustionair
to the undersideof eitherthe control panel or the
firebox bowl.
o The regulatormay makea hummingor whistlingnoise
duringoperation.This will not affect safetyor use of
grill.
o If you have a grill problemsee the "Troubleshooting"
Section.
o If the regulatorfrosts, turn off grill and LP cylinder
valveimmediately. T his indicatesa problemwith the
cylinderand it should not be used on any product.

Ignitor Lighting
o Do not lean over grill while lighting.

4. T,oignite,push and turn IGNITIONBURNERknob to
HIGH.
5. Immediately,pushand hold ELECTRONICIGNITIOa
buttonuntil the burner lights.
6. If ignitionddoes NOToccur in 5 seconds,turn the burner
controls(..,)OFF,wait 5 minutesand repeatthe lighting
procedure. If ignitor does not work,follow match lighting
instructions.
7. To igniteremainingburners,turn knob to the _ HIGH
positionstartingwith the burnersclosestto IGNITION
BURNERfirst.
8. For grills equipped with ELECTRONICIGNITIONat
each burner:
Repeatsteps4 through6 to light each burner.
9. Onceeach burnerhas ignited,turn knobsto desired
setting.
