1 GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 Introduction
The purpose of this manual is to train personnel in charge of maintaining the power
source described in the manual.
1.2 General warnings
The customer and/or operator is responsible for using the equipment appropriately,
in accordance with the instructions in the Manual, as well as for maintaining the
equipment and related accessories in good working condition, in accordance with
instructions provided in the Service Manual.
It is forbidden to attempt to repair damaged electronic boards or modules. Always
use Cebora original parts.
If necessary, clean the inside of the appliance and remove any metal dust using
compressed air. If the metal dust can be attracted using magnets, it is advisable to use
firstly magnets and then compressed air.
All repair and maintenance jobs must be performed by an "expert" (*) under the IEC
60974-4 standard.
1.3 Safety information
The safety notes provided in this manual are an integral part of those given in the
Instruction Manual. Therefore, before working on the machine, please read the section
on safety instructions in the above manual.
Always disconnect the power cord from the mains before starting any repair or
maintenance operation on the machine. Before accessing interior parts of the
equipment, always ensure that the power supply capacitors are discharged (voltage of
under 60 V at their terminals). As some internal parts, such as terminals and heatsinks,
might be connected to mains potentials or in any case be dangerous, never operate
the equipment without protective covers, unless absolutely necessary. In the latter
case use special precautions, such as wearing insulating footwear and gloves, and
working in areas and wearing clothing that are perfectly dry.
1.4 Electromagnetic compatibility
Please read and follow the directions provided in the
compatibility" section of the Instruction Manual.
(*) An expert, competent person, skilled person is a person who can judge the work
assigned and recognize possible hazards on the basis of professional training,
knowledge, experience and knowledge of the relevant equipment.
