CEBORA S.p.A.
Display board (57) managed by microcontroller U1 is secured to the front panel and
allows looping between operator and power source.
The operator can regulate the cutting current and set the various power source
functions by means of a rotary encoder with pushbutton.
The LCD display shows the cutting current, power source status and power source
error codes.
Firmware versions of the microcontroller of control board (48) and display board (57)
are shown on the display when the machine is powered up.
The microcontrollers in these two boards can be programmed only by expert staff
with dedicated programmers and personal computers loaded with appropriate
software.
The board is powered from service filter board (7) through connector J10 and from
the control board through connector J12 pin 1. There is a voltage difference of 5 Vdc
between pin 1 of J12 and pin 10 of J12. Pin 10 of J12 is the display board control
power source reference.
The 24 Vdc output of power source (6) is connected to connector J15 (pin1 negative
and pin 2 positive) of display board (57).
This 24 Vdc power source is used to power fan (28) connected to connector J13 of
display board (57) and to power isolated converter J16 with 24 V at the input and 12 V
at the output, present on display board (57).
This converter J16 is used together with RL3 to isolate the torch start control and,
together with RL2, the start control from CNC. Relays RL3 and RL2 are both present
on display board (57).
The start pushbutton on the torch is connected to both FASTON connectors 2.8x0.8
M3 and M4.
The clean start contact from the CNC (if present) is connected to both FASTON
connectors 6.3x0.8 M1 and M2.
Solenoid (16) connected to connector J11 of display board (57) is powered by power
source (6) and controlled by relay RL1 on display board (57).
Torch recognition signals from the centralised attachment are carried to connector
J7 of display board (57).
Reed switch contact (during closure) is connected to connector J9 of display board
(57) to detect the presence of the centralised attachment protection sleeve.
A reference signal for the output current to control board (48) is sent from display
board (57).
