Specifying number of sweeps in the scan
Specifies the number of times that the instrument will sweep through the scan list (# Sweeps) or continuous sweeps
(Infinite).
– # Sweeps - Specifies the number of times (between 1 to 1,000,000 sweeps) that the instrument will sweep
through the scan list after the scan is started. Press Reset to reset the sweep count to 1.
– Infinite - Sets a scan to continue indefinitely until manually stopped using the front panel [Scan/Start] key, or
the SCPI "ABORt" command is sent, or a "Device Clear" message is sent from the remote interface.
The instrument can hold up to 1,000,000 readings in reading memory, after which the
displayed indicating reading memory overflow. Any new readings will overwrite the first (oldest) readings saved; the
most recent readings are always preserved.
