Totalizer errors
Noise on the totalizer input can be a problem, especially on signals with a slow rise time. This noise can create a
false indication of a threshold crossing. See
System Cabling and Connections
for more information.
Contact bounce on external switches can create false counts. All mechanical switches bounce when they open and
close. Use an external capacitor to filter the contact bounce.
Analog Output (DAC)
The DAQM907A module has two analog outputs and senses capable of outputting calibrated voltages or currents
with 18 bits of resolution.
Each DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter) channel can be used as a programmable voltage or current source for
analog input to other devices.
