The Save softkey allows you to save the instrument's state, user's preferences, and screenshots of the display.

Description
Saves the current instrument's state or user's preference. The files may have any name, but ends with the
(.sta) extension for State files and (.prf) extensions for Preference files respectively. Instrument states
saved by the SCPI (*SAV command) are saved in file names STATE_0.sta through STATE_4.sta.
1. To save the instrument's state or user's preference, press
directory to the location you wish to save the file in and press

File Name , enter a file name and press Done .
3. Press the
State/Preference softkey to toggle between saving the current instrument's state (State)
or user's preference (Preference).
4. Press the
Save State/ Save Preference softkey to save the current instrument's state or user's
preference in designated location in the file directory.
State: Saves the measurement configuration including channel configurations and scan
settings.
Preference: Saves non-volatile settings associated with instrument, including user's
preferences and I/O settings.
1. To save the measurement readings, press

3. Press the
Separator softkey to specify the character ( Comma , Tab , or Semicolon ) which will be used
to separate information on each row.
4. Press the
Save Readings softkey to save the file in the designated location in the file directory.
