Source Level
The specified digitizer channel is triggered when the input signal crosses the specified trigger level at the specified
slope. Once you have selected this as the trigger source, you may press the Slope softkey to specify the polarity of
the internal trigger signal as rising edge (Pos) or falling edge (Neg). You may press the Delay softkey and use the
knob or arrow keys to specify a delay time prior to digitizing.
On Alarm
The specified digitizer channel is triggered when an alarm condition is detected. Press the
specify which of the four alarms will be used to trigger the channel when the alarm conditions are met. You may

The specified digitizer channel is triggered when its master channel is triggered. Any digitizer channels can be
configured and selected as the master channel even the channel is from different module. You may press the
softkey and use the knob or arrow keys to specify a delay time prior to digitizing.

The Channel option will only be available once the conditions below are met:
– One of the digitizer channels must first be configured as the trigger channel before the
option of selecting Channel as a source is made available to the rest of the digitizer
channels.
– The trigger source of the trigger channel is not set to Auto.
Rules for configuring a trigger channel:
– The trigger source of the trigger channel cannot be set to Auto.
– A digitizer channel cannot select itself as trigger channel.
– A channel can be the trigger master of multiple channels, but a channel cannot have
multiple trigger channels.
– When dealing with a chain of trigger channels, a trigger channel cannot be a child
channel of another trigger channel in the chain.
– Trigger channel configurations will return to default upon disabling the digitizer
channel.
